ABOUT THE DISCRETIONARY ADDITIONAL RESTRICTION GRANT FUNDING (now closed for applications)
Through the Advantage Card, the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead are offering grants to borough-based businesses who offer an Advantage Card discount.
The grants are designed to help businesses generate new revenue, reach new local customers through the Royal Borough Advantage Card and most importantly build resilience for the business for the future. To be in line for a grant, the business must be actively trading and based in the Borough.
Sustainability and future planning:
The objective of the grant project is to help businesses become sustainable and plan for the future. A quarter of the grant is intended to assist with the cost of the discount offered. The remaining three-quarters of the awarded grant is intended to be invested in making the business more resilient, for example hiring new staff, additional working space, bringing on board specialist like business coaches, accountants, marketers or virtual assistants.
A new Advantage Card business services listings section will feature local business experts who are also offering discounts so that a circle of local spend can be created, bringing great benefit to the local economy.
